How to wind your automatic watch?

For the automatic watch to work properly, your watch must have sufficient energy storage. Many people are unaware that the automatic watch needs to be screwed in manually. This is called the initialization process, without this process your watch will never work properly or consistently.

To begin the initialization process, pull out the ignition crown to position 2 and set time. Then return the crown to its original position. Next, rotate the crown clockwise 30-40 times. These actions are usually sufficient to initiate most automatic watches.

After completing the initialization process, the watch will automatically cling to its weight, which moves each time the watch is repositioned. The self-winding watch should be worn for at least 8 hours a day to maximize power reserve. If this is not possible or the watch has not been worn for more than 20 hours, the initialization process must be repeated to ensure that the watch show time correctly.

SETTING THE TIME

1. Pull the Crown out to 2 nd position.

2. Turn the Crown clockwise to set hours and minute hands.

3. Push the Crown back to normal position.

2. Turn the Crown counter-clockwise to set the date.
